Basic Level Blocking


This is the second Devlog diary for my game Flappy Animals, and it's about basic level blocking.

 For this checkpoint, I designed the most basic level of flappy animals. I combined the characteristics of the character, and my background was dominated by forest colors. I have a blue sky, white clouds, and green vegetation in the background.


I then used pipes as obstacles for the player. I used a hitbox to check if the player touches the pipe. Once the player touches the pipe, the game ends and the player can continue.

 


 

feedback

The feedback collected was good, and the overall feel and playability were average. New levels need to be added, not just a single level.
